40 Years of Innovation

1959	Peachtree Doors and Windows designed the first air-tight aluminum sliding glass patio door.
1960s	Designed universal frame for patio doors, allowing a panel to slide both left & right. Pioneered the use of tempered glass, now a building code requirement. Patented the first solid oak adjustable threshold. Created the first single-frame system for door panels, sidelites and transom. First to offer modular sizing in even inches. Patented the foamed -insweep.
1972	Introduced the first swinging glass patio door, the Chadeau.
1974	Launched the Avanti entry door system.
1980	Introduced Ariel casement and fixed windows.
1984	Added double-hung windows to Ariel window line and launched Prado swinging patio doors.
1988	Recipient of the 1988 Best New Product award from Today's Homeowner magazine for one of our entry doors.
1989	Introduced Newport fiberglass entry door system.
1992	Launched the IPD system (insulated patio doors).
1997	Introduced Aspire double-hung windows and designed hinged operable sidelite for entry doors.
1998	Introduced Prado French and sliding patio doors and the Prado Duo-Clad option.
1999	Launched Image window line.
2002	Introduced 300 Series, 500 Series.
2003	Launched new entry door line.
